General information about the summer SCHOOL

The Hessen International Summer University (ISU) Frankfurt is a four-week summer school specially designed for international students. Every year, students from around the world come to Frankfurt to participate in our academic courses and learn about current financial and political topics in Germany and Europe. The summer university combines academic courses taught in English, intensive German language courses, and a fun cultural and social program.

Participate in Our European Studies Summer Program!

During the ISU Frankfurt, students take academic courses in their field of study, learn German or improve their existing language skills, and discover what student life is like in the city of Frankfurt, the state of Hessen, and the country of Germany. The highly international learning environment at ISU Frankfurt is a mixture of lectures, interactive workshops, and group presentations, all of which provide students with important intercultural communication skills. A fun extracurricular program rounds out the summer school, introducing students to the main political and financial institutions in Frankfurt, as well as various outdoor activities to enjoy summer in Germany!

Join us in Frankfurt from July 5 - August 1 and make Summer 2020 your best summer yet!
