Arrival Date

  • The arrival day for all participants is Sunday, July 7, 2019
  • Please note that if you arrive earlier, you are responsible for finding your own accommodation.

Departure from Frankfurt

  • The departure day for all ISU Frankfurt participants is Saturday, August 3, 2019
  • Please note, if you are planning to stay longer you are responsible for finding your own accommodation. If you would like to extend your stay in the hotel, please contact the hotel staff directly.

How to get to the hotel from the Frankfurt Airport

Taxi

To take a taxi to the Hotel, it will take you about 15 minutes and the price will be about €20-€30.

Public Transportation

It will take you about 20 minutes to get to the hotel from the airport using public transportation, the price of the ticket will be about €4,80.

  • At Frankfurt Airport, proceed to Terminal 1 then follow the signs for Regional Trains.
  • Take either regional train S 8 or S 9 (direction Frankfurt, Hanau, or Offenbach Ost).
  • At the stop Hauptbahnhof change to the regional train S 3 (direction Bad Soden).
  • Get off at the stop Messe.
  • Walk 400m in the direction of the Hauptbahnhof. The hotel is located on the corner of Emser Brücke/Europa Allee.

How to get to the hotel from the Frankfurt Main Train Station (Hauptbahnhof)

Taxi

To get to the Hotel from the Train Station, it will take about 8 minutes and cost around €10.

Public Transportation

It will take you about 5 minutes to get to the Hotel using public transportation the price of the ticket will be about €1,85.

  • From the train station, take the regional train S 3 (direction Bad Soden).
  • Get off at the stop Messe.
  • Walk 400m in the direction of the Hauptbahnhof. The hotel is located on the corner of Emser Brücke/Europa Allee.

Visa and Insurance

VISA

  • The Federal Foreign Office in your home country can inform you whether or not you need a visa to participate in the ISU Frankfurt.
  • If you need a visa, your visa application will require a Letter of Invitation by Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences. We will be happy to provide you with all necessary documentation as soon as you have registered for the ISU Frankfurt and have paid the program fee.
  • Please allow enough time for you to apply for your visa. Visa processing can take up to six weeks and if you apply for your visa too late, you may not be able to participate in the ISU Frankfurt.

Insurance

  • The program fee covers health and liability insurance for the entire duration of the ISU Frankfurt program.
  • Please let us know if you need any further information about insurance in Germany.
